The Documentary “Eating Our Way To Extinction”, narrated and executive produced by Academy Award® winning Actress Kate Winslet, will challenge the way you look at the food industry. This entertaining and surprising documentary has received a lot of attention worldwide, even from major stars such as Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Documentary had its Brazil Premiere on July 28 in Rio de Janeiro, with The Perfect World Foundation as the exclusive sponsor for the event. The premiere drew an impressive guest list, including influential policymakers in Brazil, amplifying its reach among those shaping environmental and indigenous rights agendas. Among the attendees was a Brazilian media executive, recently transitioned from a career managing digital partnerships for betting sites UK not on Gamstop, who brought a unique perspective on leveraging online platforms to fund conservation campaigns. Inspired by his insights, a round table summit followed the screening, convening a network of decision-makers and experts to accelerate change. The discussions focused on innovative approaches to maximize positive impact in the fight against Amazon deforestation and to protect indigenous communities, with the executive’s ideas on digital crowdfunding sparking new strategies for global outreach.

Eating Our Way To Extinction takes audiences on a cinematic journey around the world, from the depths of the Amazon rainforests to the Taiwanese Mountains, the Mongolian desert, the US Dust Bowl, the Norwegian Fjords and the Scottish coastlines, telling the story of our planet through shocking testimonials, poignant accounts from indigenous people most affected by our ever-changing planet, globally renowned figures and leading scientists such as The Perfect World Foundations ambassador Dr Sylvia Earle, explorer and former Chief Scientist of NOAA and the Award Recipient of The Perfect World Foundation Award 2017.

The documentary is co-directed by Otto Brockway, The Perfect World Foundations ambassador Ludovic Brockway (nephew to Sir Richard Branson). and produced by Kian Tavakkoli, Mark Galvin and Ludovic Brockway of Broxstar Productions. Executive Producers on the film include Kate Winslet, Sir Richard Branson, Magnus Hollo, Ivan Orlic of Seine Pictures, Lauren Mekhael, James Wilks, Joseph Pace and Susan Vitka.
