The urgency of ridding plastic waste from our oceans is the basis for the Swim for Sylvia initiative, which gathers four different ocean advocates: the world-famous marine biologist Dr. Sylvia Earle, the non-profit organization The Perfect World Foundation, activist and model Jena Goldsack, and sustainable swimwear brand Seaquelle. Together, they share a mission: to save the oceans.

The swimsuits are created from textiles, including Ghost nets that have been collected from the oceans. A significant portion of the swimsuit sales directly supports Dr. Sylvia Earle’s important work through The Perfect World Foundation.

Dr. Sylvia Earle was the recipient of The Perfect World Foundation Award in 2017.

Jena Goldsack, an ambassador for The Perfect World Foundation, passionately advocates for the protection of Beluga Whales and holds a deep love for the ocean and marine life.
