DURING THIS YEARS ATP TOURNAMENT IN BÅSTAD, TENNIS BALLS THAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE DISCARDED WILL TAKE ON A NEW LIFE AS ”THE TENNIS BALL ELEPHANT”. CREATED BY THE PERFECT WORLD FOUNDATION, THIS POWERFUL SCULPTURE TURNS WASTE INTO A SYMBOL OF HOPE AND TRUMPETING ACTION FOR THE PLANET.

In 2026, the elephant will be sculpted and auctioned at one of The Perfect World Foundation’s events, and all proceeds will support “Små Lirare” — a heartfelt initiative founded by Swedish tennis player Magnus “Gusten” Gustafsson. The initiative introduces kids to tennis and sports in a fun, inclusive environment where friendship, respect, and joy are at the heart of everything.
This elephant carries a message of play, purpose, and a wilder future. Throughout the event, tennis stars will sign balls that will be added to the sculpture.
