Wallis Annenberg to Receive The Perfect World Foundation Award 2025

The Perfect World Foundation is proud to announce that Wallis Annenberg, one of the world’s most influential conservation philanthropists, will receive The Perfect World Foundation Award 2025 and be named The Conservationist of the Year, in recognition of her outstanding philanthropic commitment to wildlife protection and environmental advocacy. She joins a distinguished group of past recipients – including Jane Goodall, Sir David Attenborough, Prince Albert II of Monaco, and Kristin Davis – making this award one of the most prestigious honors in global conservation today.

Wallis Annenberg has long been a leading champion of environmental causes. Through her philanthropic efforts, she has expanded public access to green spaces, supported wildlife rehabilitation, and advanced environmental education throughout the Los Angeles region and beyond. She also spearheaded the Wallis Annenberg Wildlife Crossing — a monumental overpass across US‑101 in Agoura Hills that will reconnect vital habitats for mountain lions and other species. When completed, it will be the largest wildlife corridor in the world.

The award will be presented during a special ceremony at The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Friday, June 27, 2025, as part of the closing celebration of The Great Elephant Migration – a powerful international art and conservation campaign featuring 100 life-sized elephants traveling across the United States to inspire global action for wildlife. A collaboration between Indigenous artisans, contemporary artists and cultural institutions, The Great Elephant Migration is raising millions of dollars to power human-wildlife coexistence projects and protect migratory animals making spectacular journeys across land, rivers, skies and oceans.

Wallis Annenberg is a true role model. Her heart for animals and nature, and the tremendous impact she has made through her generous support of conservation efforts, is nothing short of inspiring. Through her life’s work, she reminds us of the powerful role philanthropy can play in creating a perfect world,” says Ragnhild Jacobsson, Co-Founder and CEO of The Perfect World Foundation.
